Team db has their mind elsewhere today on bigger, scarier thoughts. We're worried about a friend. What we need is a hug and a cuddle with a big, soft pillow.
I was killing some time last night before a haircut and popped into CB2. I fondled a few pillows and was surprised at how soft this herringbone pillow was. Plus it has that menswear-chic vibe going on.
For these reasons, I, Porcelain, declare this a Design Boner.
Since our computer system at work was being upgraded (and, therefore, unusable), Porcelain and I, along with the rest of our department, took a field trip to the Chicago Botanic Gardens. It wasn't the springiest day to visit but there was no down of the pouring and the inspiration (color, shape, texture) was completely user-friendly.
Continuing to carry the 2008 torch (pun!) of my lighting obsession, I have to admit that I love this lamp. Its price tag of $130 is NOT ATTRACTIVE but I do appreciate the drunk Fozzie Bear implication.
Gotta love that texture. I really like the natural, woven look of these pillows and I'm already using them (in my head) to decorate my imaginary outdoor oasis. Yet I wonder about their comfort level (too scratchy?) and I worry about mixing them with a glass of wine and pantyhose.
