Wouldn't you like to be able to count the rings on your files and figure out how old they are? Surely, that would help spur an excess paper purge?
I would totally buy these attractive folders, offered at the MoMa store for $7 for six, but I fear they'd just end up locked inside my big ol' paint splattered filing cabinet. And that's the sad truth.
For (or maybe despite) these reasons, I, Cardboard, declare this a Design Boner.

Faking It / Taking It
Even though they're pleasant to look at, I'd rather have no succulents than faux succulents...

Unwholly Trees
I've always thought artificial trees are a bit weird but they can be perfectly acceptable. I can't talk too much trash about them since I have a faux fir in my dining room. But I do not have one of these...

GrandinRoad, an online shop I just discovered, has taken the strange to a new level. The Corner Tree and the Flat Back ("Fat Back?") Fraiser Fir are available for under $300. The space-saving concept of these fakeries is good but does the odd outweigh the convenience?
