Hand Wash Only

Bamboo Dish Rack, at Crate & Barrel

This is a sharp looking dish drying rack, don't you think? With its sturdy design (of renewable bamboo), I see it next to the washbin of a solitary monk or beside a beach house farm sink.

Yet, in real life, I fear this baby won't be able to hold up. I mean, where do you store the super-sized plastic HeMan novelty cups from McDonald's?

i just made mom throw all those cups away... hehe. i like the dryer but i think i would be annoyed that the plates and bowls would always drip on the glasses...

Pretty, but not big enough even for one dinner's worth of plates! It also helps the dishes are gorgeous and clean- no plastic there!

I purchased this from Crate and Barrel. It is definately not sturdy - the flatware holder lasted a few days. Not family friendly. If you have to have it, it is available and Bed, Bath and Beyond for 19.00.

Thanks for the tip, Anonymous Shopper! Sorry it didn't work out the way you would have liked.

Cord (aka Joel) bought one of these from Target. I'll have to ask him how his is holding up.
