Those sound like a delicious, decadent (9 plums for $50!) treat! Perhaps to be savored with a little ice wine...
My husband actually works in Ann Arbor (which is where the Zingerman's store is). Lucky me-- he comes home regularly with a $25 of anchovy drippings. Yum! :P
