4th of July BBQ Essentials

Are you having a BBQ on the 4th? Check out our top ten list of party essentials:

First and foremost: drinks!
1.
Le Creuset Caribbean Blue Stoneware Pitcher, at Sur la Table
2. Isaac Mizrahi Acrylic Drinkware, at Target

Of course, if it's a BBQ, you must have the grill.

3.
Tool Box Grill Pro Gas Grill, at Camping World

Once everyone has a drink and the grill has been lit, you can show off your patriotic decorations.

4. Flags & Stars Print Confetti, at Century Novelty

By now, the "fashionably late" folks will start arriving and you'll be happy that you remembered to secure some extra seating.

5.
Frosta (stackable) Stool, at IKEA

Time to eat!
6.
Blue & Red Grosgrain Paper Plates, at Plum Party
7. Henckels SOS Stainless-Steel Steak Knives, at Amazon

After dinner, you should allow your guests to digest slowly over some leisurely competition.
8. Custom Proline Cornhole Board, at CornHoleShop

Soon the music will get turned up and party-goers will start to boogie down/shake it.
9.
Crosley AutoRama CD (with turntable & radio), at Pedal Cars and Retro Collectables [sic]

And no 4th of July would really be complete without...
10. SPARKLERS! Thanks goes to Necessary Chocolate for the great image.

Have a good holiday!

Except if you live in Denver where you aren't allowed any kind of personal firework!
Also, the cornhole set is a nice touch. a

Actually, you can't have sparklers in Chicago either. Really sad. I'll just have to pretend.

You can have sparklers in Australia but we don't do 4th of July. I'm waving one furiously in the kitchen (left over from a birthday cake) and trying to do the high bits of the Star Spangled Banner. The words are proving a problem though as I only know a handful. Happy Independence Day from the other side of the world!
